Inspired by Med. Dr. Gianni Gromo
Dr. Gianni Gromo, a medical doctor specializing in Oncology and Hematology from the Università degli Studi di Milano, Italy, dedicated his life to advancing healthcare. His career spanned hospital work in Italy and the USA, and positions with leading pharmaceutical companies in Italy, the USA, and Switzerland. Later, he transitioned to venture capital, focusing on healthcare innovation.
A passionate traveller with a deep interest in global health, Gianni believed in a world where education and fairness could help eradicate inequalities. After his passing in 2019, his family founded the Gianni Gromo Foundation in 2022, building on his core values and commitment to a more equitable world. Through the foundation, we honor Gianni’s legacy by advancing healthcare access and opportunities for all with particular attention to addressing gender inequality.
